LeBron James' Last-Second Shot Seals Victory

Team USA narrowly escaped a stunning upset in an exhibition game against South Sudan on Tuesday, coming back from a 16-point deficit to win 101-100.

South Sudan, ranked 60th in the FIBA World Rankings, shocked the Americans in the first half, playing with speed, discipline, and accuracy. They built a 16-point lead in the second quarter and held it until the break.

But Team USA turned things around in the third quarter, outscoring South Sudan 35-16. LeBron James led the charge, scoring 10 points in the quarter and setting up several key plays. With the game on the line, James hit the game-winning basket with just seconds remaining.

James finished with a game-high 25 points, while Bam Adebayo added 20 and Donovan Mitchell contributed 19. For South Sudan, Nuni Omot scored 23 points, Thon Maker had 19, and Kueth duany added 16.
