Early Life and Career

Marshawn Terrell Lynch, nicknamed "Beast Mode," was born on April 22, 1986, in Oakland, California. He began his football career at Oakland Technical High School, where he was a standout running back. After graduating, he attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he became a key player on the Golden Bears football team.

Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks

Lynch was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Bills before being traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2010. It was with the Seahawks that Lynch became a household name, earning the nickname "Beast Mode" for his aggressive running style.

In six seasons with the Seahawks, Lynch helped the franchise reach two Super Bowls, winning one in 2013. He was a key cog in Seattle's "Legion of Boom" defense and was known for his signature touchdown celebration, the "Beast Quake."

Retirement and Legacy

Lynch retired from the NFL in 2019 after 12 seasons. He finished his career with 10,413 rushing yards, 85 rushing touchdowns, and four Pro Bowl selections.
